Our Boats

Since fishing on and around the Chesapeake Bay can vary greatly from season to season and year to year, at Peake Tide Fishing we are ready to roll with the tides and offer exciting fishing opportunities from the shallowest grass flat to the deepest holes. We have two boats with which to address this variety, and each offers a different experience. Both boats are fully equipped with readily available USCG certified safety equipment to assure that our fishing experience is as safe as possible. Both boats are fully insured and licensed for the bodies of water that we will be fishing.

Parker 23 Special Edition

This North Carolina made 23’ center console is widely known as a reliable, quality boat that is designed and constructed for comfortable fishing. Paired with a dependable Yamaha F200 this boat will get you to the fishing grounds quickly and comfortably. This boat features a spacious, clean, open layout that provides for tangle-free fly fishing and plenty of room to chase your trophy around the boat with light tackle. The Parker also features a custom tower that enables us to see and cast to fish that are near the surface, providing for some of the most exciting fishing on the bay! This boat is also equipped with a state of the art Lowrance sonar/GPS which helps in locating schools of fish that aren’t so close to the surface.

Cape Craft 175 Bay and Flats

This 18’ bay and flats boat is equipped with a reliable, lightweight 70hp Yamaha outboard that will quickly take you to the fish and, simultaneously, allow access to the shallows they frequent. Once we are in the fishing area a remote control Minn Kota trolling motor provides quiet, effortless maneuvering to help stay on the fish and quietly cover more area. When travelling to the shallowest of flats, Captain Josh will use a push pole to silently hunt your quarry, sneaking up to within casting distance of some of the most elusive fish in the area. We also have a Lowrance sonar/GPS to help further dial in on fish that may be staging on deeper contours or structure. This boat is at home on the many flats and protected inshore areas that the bay has to offer yet has a steep enough deadrise to get us there and back comfortably.
